The Citadel Group: Driving Remote Work Efficiency through Efficient Solutions

With growing market competition, the idea of remote employees has gained considerable momentum in the last few years. Aiming to be nimble and responsive to customers in different global locations, many companies are adopting innovative strategies to maintain a remote and agile workforce. This trend is growing exponentially with the advent of COVID-19. The work from home (WFH) model has become central to business execution. That said, for startups and SMEs, have several challenges of their own in adopting this model. They lack the technology infrastructure and an adaptive business strategy that can support WFH capability to all of their employees. As a result, both individual and business performance is suffering a massive setback. Additionally, the dearth of collaboration between teams and individuals is adding to the woes. At this juncture, Canberra based The Citadel Group is simplifying WFH with its ‘content manager as a service’ solution, Citadel-IX, that provides secure enterprise information management (EIM). Founded in 2007, the software company specializes in providing secure information to the various decision-makers in an organization, thereby supporting them to make real-time decisions.

Over the years, Citadel has developed a broad portfolio of solutions and has made significant efforts to keep them in lockstep with industry trends. The company’s Citadel-IX proactively consolidates all of the clients’ documents into a secure cloud library to facilitate easy access to the users while reducing the cost. Citadel-IX is flexible and can be easily configured according to the size and the unique needs of an organization. Further, the solution provides advanced data protection and 24x7 monitoring and support to strengthen customer relations.

Apart from the enterprise management solution, Citadel offers robust and efficient solutions to support clinical applications, diagnostic pathology, and oncology applications in public and private hospitals.

In addition, Citadel provides technology services to assist clients in maintaining and operating video and voice technologies efficiently. Through its collaboration solution, the company ensures a smooth implementation of Citadel technologies and related services. It takes the heavy lifting off the clients’ shoulders, helping them to focus on core business processes as Citadel assumes responsibility for running the technologies efficiently. To provide additional support on-site, Citadel has developed an app called AVAssist through which Audio-Visual (AV) technicians provide instant video support to solve complex AV issues remotely from support centres. This app addresses video conferencing connection and audio and video quality issues.

A case in point, Australia’s Department of Natural Resources approached Citadel for a solution to support its enterprise architecture (EA) for improved IT performance. Citadel conducted an onboarding process for four weeks and implemented LeanIX software that powers EA management services. Through its managed services, the company consolidated client’s enterprise data points, enabling them to produce application heat map, matrix and roadmap reports. The project helped clients establish a strong foundation for the existing EA use cases and to plan for future use cases.

Citadel has achieved ISO 27001 certification that enables the firm to safeguard client data on cloud-based Citadel-IX. Additionally, the company has ISO 9001:2015 certification that positions the company as a trusted player in terms of following the quality control standards. Besides, the Australian software and services company is a Microsoft gold partner and has an Advanced Video Specialisation certificate from Cisco.

Standing at the forefront of innovation, Citadel is investing in R&D and is aiming to add new solutions for enhanced value to the clients. The company is also looking to expand its reach globally and cater to businesses worldwide.
