Garg exclaims about the vital role mobile traffic data has played in the expansion of eLearning. Recently, markets have witnessed a paradigm shift in eLearning due to expansion of the connected network. “A report from Cisco found the global mobile data traffic will increase by 47 percent in the fiscal period 2016-2021.” Considering these trends and the market requirements, Upside Learning employs intuitive mobile learning tools to engage learners in meaningful interactions. The company creates a learning environment for the professionals where they can learn from their mistakes and retain that learning for a long time to further improve their performances.

Upside Learning, has also developed its own innovative HTML-based reusable framework FRED for responsive eLearning design and developments. It comprises of over 20 templates and enables creation of eLearning models in multiple languages that are configurable to give SCORM- or Tin Can (aka xAPI) compliant output. The company also empowers its clients to convert their existing Flash-based courses to HTML5.

Upside Learning converts Instructor-led training (ILT) programs that have been in practice among organizations since decades.

Considering the scalability and costs of managing the resources to carry out such training programs, Upside Learning helps converting ILT programs to eLearning. However, sometimes it’s difficult to move the program entirely to eLearning. In such cases, the company evaluates which segments can be moved online, before, after, and during the sessions, to create and effective blended program. Sometimes, the company creates online sessions to serve as the recaps or reminders of the ILT programs that the participants have attended. This doesn’t just help in keeping the learning fresh in their minds but also help them apply it wherever possible.

Apart from its specialization in eLearning solutions, the firm yields LMS solution also known as UpsideLMS that has constantly evolved in the last decade. An indigenously built platform, LMS has evolved significantly over the years and is now in its version 7.5. Having moved it to a SaaS based platform, the company keeps adding new functionality to LMS. Upside Learning, with these comprehensive eLearning tools and solutions constantly works to helps its clients create impactful learning experiences. Referring to one of the company’s projects, Garg recalls how the firm assisted one of its clients in the aviation industry to generate a whole new catalog of eLearning format. The challenge here was to do it in a consistent manner that could abet the client to retain its brand value and make it available on the desired devices. Upside Learning created around 40 hours of eLearning in a very cost-efficient manner within one year which boosted their operational performance. Being a phase changer in eLearning genre, the firm has received over forty-two awards in its 13 years journey for constantly serving its client base that counts to over 150.

Going forward, the firm intends to leverage the power of xAPI for further boosting the eLearning frame. The company is also looking to incorporate augmented reality, virtual reality, and learning analytics for adding more fuel to its current portfolio.
