Virtual Link Solutions

CIO VendorWuttichai Koasakul, MD
The world is witnessing a new wave of digital transformation that is systematically unseating the traditional models of Information Technology (IT). Disruptive technologies such as cloud computing, mobility, big data analytics, and artificial intelligence are revamping the way IT systems are deployed and operated. Virtual Link Solutions (VLink), a leading software provider in the area of enterprise solutions from Bangkok, Thailand believes that to remain competitive, every business must align with evolving technologies. The company offers software solutions using new age technologies to some of the market leading organizations. The advantage that VLink receives due to its premium partnership with IBM, is helping the company gain a competitive edge.

Operating since 2003, the company has garnered profound industry experience which is helping them to deliver successful projects. With a well-defined organizational structure, VLink’s professional software services team consists of project managers, solution architectures, software engineers, software consultants, business analysts, system analysts, developers, testers, and support personnel.

The company has deployed an IBM Web Portal solution for The Thai Red Cross AIDS Research Center (TRCARC), which aims to improve HIV/AIDS prevention and care in Thailand and Southeast Asian region through its quality research and services.

A long list of clients vindicates VLink’s leadership position in Thailand's IT services industry

VLink’s web portal offers an end-to-end solution by providing omnichannel services, which are used to conduct blood tests and consultation with counselors using Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. The system caters to multiple operational requirements such as supporting SMS, Instant Messaging and Web Conferencing, Patient Registration System, one-time password authentication, appointment scheduling, lab result data export, survey form, and administration management.

In yet another successful deployment, VLink delivered a discreet solution to the Office of The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC). The commission regulates the broadcasting and telecommunications industry in Thailand, ensuring public benefits at national and local levels. The enterprise solution from VLink— IBM Knowledge Management System—assists NBTC in maintaining a system wherein employees can share information, capture day-to-day knowledge, and be able to reuse the accumulated knowledge by following the concepts illustrated by the Knowledge Management Methodology. The Knowledge Management Platform is designed based on client's requirements such as expertise profile, community of practice, a community of interest, file sharing, search, analytics, and mobility.

Likewise, over the years, VLink has served several other premium organizations, including Kasikorn Bank, Government Housing Bank, CAT Telecom, Ministry of Finance, The Comptroller General’s Department, and The Metropolitan Electricity Authority. An extensive list of clients vindicates its leadership position in Thailand's IT services industry. The company has been accredited with the coveted ‘Strategic Imperatives IBM Social Business Partner of the Year- 2016 award’ for its innovation in IBM technology space and consistent client success rate.

VLink has made strident progress in delivering solutions based on Cloud computing technology, rapid web and mobile development and big data analytics, and considers these emerging technologies as its forte. In the near future, the company plans to extend its offerings in emerging technologies and is all set to harness them in a way that aligns with client’s evolving needs.
