VisionVault: Fostering Digital Asset Management with AWS

    Warwick Boulter,Director, VisionVaultWarwick Boulter, Director
How will we keep pace with the ever-accelerating rate of innovation? While this question perforates to every media company CIOs when they think of adopting cloud—not everyone understands how? As the digital age has up-voted the work ethics of Digital Asset Management (DAM); it has also helped them to elevate at an unprecedented level and foster the time-to-market with higher sales and fresh content packaged. Empowering this change in the DAM spectrum is Sydney, Australia-based company— VisionVault. Being an Amazon cloud partner, the company has focused on powering brands and ad agencies at a media management level. Outside of the marketing vertical, the company recently moved into the education vertical in response to the growing need for video management, hosting and delivery within online learning management systems. “The media assets we deal with are very large. Our key digital asset management services are hosted on AWS infrastructure, delivering scalability, security, and agility,” says Warwick Boulter, Director of VisionVault.

The company’s acumen managing digital media assets across archival and cloud platforms has quickly transformed the management of digital media assets in Australia. The Cloud DAM platform of VisionVault yields a central stage for controlled access to digital assets—including images, photos, creative files, video, audio, presentations, documents, and more. The product maintains a completely holistic approach for managing media assets, handling ingest and metadata workflows without crafting any additional infrastructure. Boulter exclaims, “Our clients see us as a new age utility – a cloud-driven user platform at the core, with surrounding offline and service layers.

VisionVault leverages the best-in-class infrastructure along with a high-shield security channel

VisionVault’s uniqueness is that it offers a completely robust solution rather than focusing on just one aspect of cloud.”

VisionVault has always laid stress on bringing new technologies, architecture, and workflows to the industry – with best in class data storage and connectivity at the heart of the architecture. VisionVault leverages Amazon’s best-in-class infrastructure along with a high-shield security channel. Amazon Web Services provides a platform that is highly redundant and secure. “Big brands, ad agencies, and now education rely on VisionVault to be always on and always secure - and in turn we rely on Amazon,” sparks Boulter. Leveraging Amazon infrastructure empowers the firm to stay abreast of key security concerns for information management in a very cost-efficient way.

VisionVault’s unique DAM services have constantly brought clarity, agility, security, and confidence to its client base varying from big brands to ad agencies, from marketing consultancies to sole video producers and photographers. The firm’s expert and bespoke services have brought success to many of its clientele such as Hyundai, Optus, Youi, and Qantas to name a few.

“The company is still in its early days, so is the digital asset management space, and so are our clients,” asserts Boulter. VisionVault, powered by Amazon delivers a modular and scalable platform to craft solutions that match the requisite of its clients. This platform also abates the expenditure cost on infrastructure as the modulated cloud technology is proficient in performing multiple cloud solutions.

Going further, the company intends to expand its foot-print on the global map. “As Amazon is present everywhere; they will act as a helping hand for us to expand our services. Our revenue is up 300 percent for the second year in a row, and we expect to reach new peaks of success through our global expansion,” concludes Boulter.
