The company’s founders identified that there are huge potentials and cost benefits in off shoring IT projects. That’s when Wissen Infotech came into being. Subhakar says, “Today, it’s one of the fastest growing IT services companies in India.”
Based in Bangalore, Wissen started its operations with the promoters outsourcing their own jobs and providing Remote Infrastructure Management Services. Gradually, it diversified its offerings, adding QA & Testing, and application development and maintenance tasks to its roster of services. The value-added services which the company offered initially, over time, turned into its prime offerings.
Lack of quality resources and difficulty in retaining them, absence of structured and process oriented approach to testing, unpredictable nature of demand for QA services, delayed time to market and emergence of cloud, mobile apps and bigdata/analytics are some of the major challenges Wissen has helped its clients overcome over the years.
