    ZeroStack: The Private Cloud Control Specialist

    Agility, cost-effectiveness, scalability, and ease of use— these traits underscore the broader value proposition of public clouds. But with data turning invaluable, most enterprises today are not inclined to give up absolute control over assets which is possible only when they are deployed on-premise. The need, therefore, is for a private cloud that gives enterprises all the agility, scalability, and cost savings promised by the public cloud.     Unlike other private cloud solutions, ZeroStack leverages a blend of on-premise and cloud-hosted components to help enterprises deploy a pre-planned, pre-tested, completely automated, and fully supported private cloud solution. With ZeroStack’s private cloud solution, enterprises can also build and operate their own cloud in a few minutes instead of months, and start deploying services immediately, without the intervention of a cloud operations team.

    According to Garrison, building a private cloud that feels like a public cloud is similar to “owning a fancy car with a lot of associated costs.”
    Even if enterprises do manage to get public cloud-like experience, achieving the same on-premise protection, governance, and control over data while keeping operating costs at a minimum becomes tough. “But ZeroStack makes it possible for enterprises to own that fancy car at a fraction of the cost associated with it.”

    ZeroStack is at the forefront of cloud automation innovation and continually strives to streamline the cloud management process along with reducing the TCO. The firm’s ownership model allows end-users and managed service providers to reduce costs by 90 percent while enabling them to simplify operations and accelerate IT by ten times over virtualized solutions. Unlike the traditional virtualization model which adds multiple layers over a hypervisor, the firm offers a fully operational cloud stack with self-service capability, elasticity, automated management, scalability, and a pay-as-you-go service that are not inherent in the conventional model.

Additionally, the firm also provides a dedicated app store which comprises over 40 developer applications and tools. The firm’s integrated app store has a rich environment that can be extended using RESTful OpenStack APIs for easy integration, enabling users to choose their preferred toolsets with just a click.

    At the core, what really differentiates ZeroStack is its ability to offer a hyper-converged architecture that combines software-defined networking (SDN), data application and management, scale-out storage, and compute independent silos. The goal of this hyper-converged environment is to host all operations and user workloads in the ZeroStack cloud, making it self-managing and reducing the time enterprises take to implement their current industry standards. ZeroStack’s entire offering is self-contained with a single license. The firm also pride itself on its unique partner ecosystem which enables it to provide a robust user experience to customers in the Singapore market, which has been a global hotspot for ZeroStack’s private cloud solution.
