CSPM: Customer-Oriented Data Center Facility Solutions

In the rapidly evolving world of data center facility management, where precision and expertise are paramount, one company stands out—Critical Services Product & Management (CSPM). Founded in 2017, the company began its journey of delivering top-notch services for data center facilities with a dedicated 60-strong workforce possessing over 40 years of industry expertise.

Today, it continues to build on this strong foundation through four key service teams managing uninterruptible power supply (UPS), air conditioning, fire suppression systems and a full-fledged service center for data centers across Thailand. Its footprint spans the Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phitsanulok, Khon Khan, Nakhon Ratchasima, Songkhla and Surat Thani provinces.

On a mission to provide competitive services, CSPM focuses on developing and improving its after-sale service management software by strictly using the latest technology. If the implementation of mission-critical equipment does not go as planned, CSPM’s team fine-tunes the system to optimize the reliability of facilities. This competency proves specifically helpful for facilities necessitating constant post-installation maintenance.

“We employ diverse product specialists to offer turnkey data center construction and management solutions that deliver the highest quality service and consistently meet and exceed client expectations,” says Metee Anivat, president and CEO of CSPM.

A laser focus on implementing the ISO 9001 quality standards throughout its vision, mission and business strategy makes CSPM the go-to product and service provider for data center facilities. It prioritizes timely project delivery and quick problem resolutions.

Its proficiency in addressing equipment breakdowns is powered by a tailored service level agreement and a strong emphasis on safety. The company employs a dedicated professional safety officer who conducts robust safety-driven programs every month to train its in-house teams in effectively securing infrastructures and avoiding accident-prone vulnerabilities. The safety officer also routinely supervises the operation of service staff and project implementation.
Taking it further, CSPM’s service team ensures the mitigation of any maintenance issues or queries within 24 hours, as its inventory is always stocked with sought-after and commonly used spare parts and resources. It plans to implement an incident management solution for efficiently managing equipment mishaps and a tracking system that monitors problem-resolution processes.

Another key milestone on CSPM’s roadmap is integrating AI into its after-sales service. In pursuit of this, the company has collaborated with a renowned IT firm to use intelligent algorithms to acquire actionable insights into recurrent failure trends and help its team members improve their equipment installation procedures. It also conducts annual customer surveys to modify work instructions and resolve long-term issues.

In a notable instance, CSPM helped a national telecom company revamp the air conditioning across their country-wide facilities. Due to their enduring aircon, which demanded recurring maintenance, this client approached CSPM to resolve their increasing facility risks on time. Using its comprehensive services and intuitive after-sales competencies, CSPM promptly delivered impactful and ongoing support to help the telecom company attain their desired outcomes without operational disruptions.

We employ diverse product specialists to offer turnkey data center construction and management solutions that deliver the highest quality service and consistently meet and exceed client expectations

Sparking further success, it recently launched a new solution to address the growing fire risks caused by the skyrocketing adoption of lithium-ion batteries as an alternative to their lead-acid counterparts. Working with Honeywell, a global leader in energy and sustainability solutions, CSPM launched the Li-ion Tamer Rack Monitor, which proactively notifies relevant entities in case of fires, enabling the early-stage mitigation of thermal risks to ensure operational continuum.

Equally impressive is the company’s commitment to sustainability, exemplified by its plan to use 20 electric cars as service vehicles. Instead of using carbon-intensive diesel semi-trucks, it leverages greener mobility options to cut emissions and actively contribute to lowering the impacts of global warming. Furthermore, CSPM uses solar panels to power its operations, which contrasts with market contemporaries who continue relying on conventional fuels.

Amid the growing number of global data center operators entering Thailand, the struggle to invest in the right equipment while ensuring smooth supply has become a top priority. CSPM recognizes this widening gap and continually boosts the synchronicity of its teams to manage data center facility operations better and facilitate expert services for businesses to thrive now and in the future.
