TOKYO, JAPAN: Fujitsu announces the availability of “FUJITSU Manufacturing Industry Solution 3D” to monitor the difference between product component photos and their 3D blueprints. The new solution integrates 3D CAD with augmented reality (AR) technology to enhance the visibility of manufacturing components and mitigate the production downtime.
New Offerings of 3D Superimposed Product Design Diagnostic
The 3D solution incorporates a feasible way to distinguish the differences between 3D blueprintsof a component and their pictures by overlapping them one over the other using smartphones or tablets. The early threat detection capability of the new solution increases the time-efficiency to diagnose a component and enhance the production uptime in manufacturing units. The diagnostic results further enables improved management of workflow and helps to keep a track on the quality of components.
The new offering diminishes the complexity faced in manually aligning a product with its blueprint. It enables manufacturing units to get more accurate results and minimize the roll-outs defects. The reduction in number of defects further helps to enrich the productivity and gain better insights in business.
