Gamification or the incorporation of game play elements into the corporate world has become an essential part of the technology industry. According to the Gartner Group,  more than 50 percent of the companies which are currently present in the field of management of innovation processes will implement more gamification applications in the coming years.

Simultaneously, more than 70 percent of Forbes Global 2000 companies are going to focus more on gamification, and they are expected to have at least one game application as their own. Today, organizations can incorporate gamification in working environments for achieving better productivity and workflows.

Today, many games provide an opportunity for a player to review characters, where they can choose characters, skills of the characters, and review the result of their previous game. Gamification combines various friendly competitions, tournaments, tests, and rewards into different levels of the game. These elements will increase one’s retention capability while they play the game. Gamification also improves the users’ engagement between one another on similar platforms, facilitates team building, and rewarding opportunities to other players.

The concept of the reward system can be linked with a token after each task and converted into real money, goods, and services. Gamification will create a goal-oriented task to be achieved for winning the game. Therefore, the first step in gamification is to define a goal or target to achieve, with simple and brief content to have a clear idea about the whole game. There will be several rules for a player some dos and don’ts, directions, and regulations.

Giving feedback is one of the best driving forces for the player to move forward and improve. In gamification, feedback will be provided through a scorecard with details of the customer’s strengths and limitations from his total performance. Providing feedbacks with advanced information to a player about his performance will give the individual more insights to play better and achieve tasks faster. Reward system is another opportunity that a player could additionally benefit from the game. The main purpose of this strategy is to keep the player always motivated by giving them various rewards such as leaderboards and trophies.

Games are a common buzzword in today’s technology market which can be considered to be a strategy for organizations to make revenue by providing games with a lot of creativity and fun elements.
