FREMONT, CA: Schneider APC announces the availability of NetBotz 250 for monitoring and managing the performance of connected and networked devices. The new offering enhances the energy efficiency and minimizes the production downtime in IT enterprises, reports Chris Preimesberger for eWeek.
NetBotz 250 Architecture
Rack access control functionality is available at 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz to limit access only to credential users. NetBotz 250 is further incorporated with shallow 19” form factor and six on-board ports connecting various NetBotz wired sensors, including temperature, temp/humidity, smoke, and spot fluid detection sensors, as well as third party sensors via a dry contact cable. The additional ports used for monitoring the device over Modbus RTU include beacon port, voltage output, and relay output.
NetBotz 250 for IT Security
NetBotz 250 is designed to provide physical security and protect the IT operations from external environmental hazards. It can also provide real-time response to rectify the problems that interrupts the workflow and reduce reliability of the process. The advanced feature of NetBotz 250 offers support for wireless temperature, humidity sensors, vibration and smoke detection.
NetBotz 250 integrates with StruxureWare Data Center Expert to enhance the efficiency and improve the connectivity at granular level of the data center. The integration enables NetBotz 250 to manage multiple NetBotz appliances through a single glass of plane.
