Significant Grounds of Chatbots in Employee Experience

By Apac CIO Outlook | Thursday, November 28, 2019
    Tweet

Employee experience has always been a significant building block of an organization’s growth; it’s in recent times that it has become a battlefield for companies to excel. Similar to other processes technology is being adopted to rejig the same. AI-powered chatbots which already are driving customer service are now making inroads in employee experience.

Conversational chatbots are capable of enhancing the employer-employee relationship and automate the mundane and monotonous efficiently. These bots have started to find grounds in optimizing the human resource process as well, allowing them to focus on more brainstorming and strategic jobs. Chatbots provide almost humanly response appealing young workers and executives.

Recruitment: Employee experience starts with the recruitment stage itself. Smoothness and flexibility of the recruitment procedure mark the first impression on new talents which lasts long. Therefore, chatbots have begun to play a significant role in talent recruitment. Sieving through several resumes is a minutes job for bots which shortlists the most relevant ones from the hay.

Key HR tech companies: myREF, Microimage, FEETS SDN BHD

From form filling to scheduling interview each task can be effectively managed in real-time. Post interview, the selected candidate engagement job is equally efficiently carried out by AI-powered chatbots. Their involvement has saved the time of human resources professionals and has resulted in a much-streamlined process with higher ROI.

Training: Even if organizations hire skilled workforce they still require to train them for business tools and processes. This now can be migrated to autonomous chatbots delivering effective training sessions to new onboardings, helping them to adapt in the new environment. Backed by AI and its subsets, chatbots can also possess natural language processing capabilities making training sessions more interactive and informative. Not just new, but existing workforce also requires time-to-time training sessions for upgrading their skills for company requirements and Chatbots have a similarly significant role in the same.

Optimize HR Services: It is no hidden secret that HR policies are complex and require regular updates, generating new queries in the minds of employees. Also, circulating new policies and terms among the entire organization is a tedious task. Chatbots can be the savior from the same. AI empowers these bots to analyze and understand complex policies and based on the company’s database they respond to monotonous employee queries. Employees too prefer real-time accurate support and HR professionals have convenience in circulating the information.
