SPS Commerce: Comprehensive Solution to Automate Time-Intensive and Manual Processes

Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a sophisticated cloud platform that requires expert guidance to be implemented successfully in any organization. As utilitarian as D365 is in terms of its technological capability, implementing the same has proven to overwhelm IT teams, often wasting productive hours otherwise spent on high-priority tasks. To assist organizations with their D365 integration and allow them to focus on ERP implementation and business development, SPS Commerce offers an end-to-end complete service EDI solution that eliminates many of their day-to-day EDI tasks.

“SPS Commerce offers a fullservice EDI solution that enables customers to reduce most of their dayto- day EDI tasks, reducing the amount of effort, resources, time, and money required to support EDI,” states Shawn Martin, Head of APAC Pre-Sales for Microsoft at SPS Commerce. Along with a full-service EDI solution, SPS has garnered an extensive EDI database and 25 years of expertise working with the Microsoft Dynamics community, which reflect in its offerings that assist customers in migrating to Azure. SPS’s solution is tightly integrated with D365 but loosely coupled such that it does not modify D365’s core code, enabling their EDI and automation while still allowing clients to keep up with the latest updates.
With the acquisition of Data Masons by SPS, the latter’s solution can help organizations move closer to true digital transformation while also future-proofing their investments by supporting their entire omni-channel processes.

SPS is the only EDI firm that provides a full-service approach to EDI, allowing customers to outsource their day-to-day EDI tasks while providing a standardized integration methodology to D365 using the Data Masons’ adaptor, precisely when they choose Microsoft. Since the adaptor does not modify the core code of the D365, a client’s cost of ownership is reduced drastically, and their flexibility in choosing different apps from the microsoft app store increases.

With over 500,000 pre-built connections to various trade partners, SPS can significantly reduce a client’s workload when it comes to EDI deployment by swiftly connecting to their trading partners on its network. Conversely, the company goes out of its way to obtain EDI specifications from clients’ trade partners who not are on its network to perform testing and ensure a successful D365 connection. With SPS's comprehensive solution, a client’s only responsibility is to validate that accurate data flows through the D365, and it will effortlessly provide actionable insights into their key business processes, enabling them to streamline processes.

SPS Commerce offers a full-service EDI solution that enables customers to outsource most of their day-to-day tasks, reducing the amount of effort, resources, time, and money required to support EDI

SPS's collaboration with Breville demonstrates the efficacy of the former’s solution. The client had an extremely complex supply chain and was working with multiple third-party logistics companies with the vision of integrating D365 into its system, while avoiding customization complexities. SPS offered them a complete integration and full automation of EDI with the D365 with a negligible footprint, ensuring the client was onboarded swiftly and cost-effectively.

As a result, Breville was provided with the necessary tools to quickly and easily detect issues and fix them. As a full-service EDI solution provider, SPS delivers the technology and a team of experts who have extensive knowledge in D365 to help clients configure and optimize EDI tailored to their dynamic environment. Moreover, SPS not only supports a client’s omnichannel processes, such as assisting customers with EDI requirements or connecting to e-commerce sites or marketplaces but also provides additional tools and resources that allow them to go beyond EDI and revolutionize how retailers, grocers, and distributors onboard and manage their vendor communities.
