In a latest report on market size and forecast report on Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) software, Ovum, a leading global technology research and advisory firm stated that the global EMM software market is expected to grow nearly fourfold by 2019.
Creating business advantage for their customers by providing actionable insight to support their decisions, Ovum’s Software Market Forecasts provide market sizing and forecasts across Ovum’s software research coverage.
The situation is promising for Asia Pacific (APAC) region, where it has been estimated that the market in the region will have a positive growth rate at a CAGR of over 50%. Elaborating on the situation in APAC and Latin America (LATAM) region, Principal Analyst Richard Absalom, the author of the report, said, “The continued high rates of BYOD behavior in these regions are changing the way that people work, and businesses looking to manage that behavior are increasingly turning to EMM software.
The APAC market is set to grow at a CAGR of over 50% and account for 19% of the overall market by 2019. LATAM will also see fast growth – almost 48% CAGR from 2014–19 – although it will remain by some distance the smallest regional market. While North America, the biggest geographic market for EMM software will maintain the biggest share (39%) of the market by 2019, that share is shrinking – down from 56% in 2014.”
The EMM market is set to grow at a notable CAGR of 29.5%, from a base of US$2.7bn in 2014 to just under US$10bn by 2019. This being the trend Absalom says, “As enterprise mobility management strategies mature, enterprise IT departments think less in terms of basic device management and security and more about how usage of these mobile devices can transform business processes. This inevitably drives them toward mobile app adoption.”
