Microsoft with its Azure Stack has gone to the position where the experience of data centre vs. public cloud is seamless for its customers. Google on the other hand is investing mostly in the technologies assuring that most of the services will stay in private data centers. But building own APIs for the data centers are still in process making it easier for all on-premise business practices to use more of the cloud services. Both the on-premise data centers and public cloud are equally used across the world nowadays. With implementation of both the data hubs is pacing up the CIOs and the organizations take the decision whether to employ on-premise data centers or public clouds for all business applications and performances.
Since an IT team has several applications to maintain, few of the applications like public websites which have swinging demands with the change in the public demands for products and services. This varies in different hours of the day and public cloud acts smart in this area of non-sensitive data distribution by making perfect sense of keeping the elasticity of demand more closely matched with the expenditure occurring in every hour. For other applications such demand swings are rare and sensitive in nature. These kinds of applications is preferably fit for on-premise data centers supported with additional security whenever and wherever are necessary. Moreover, after a long period of time when the assets are capitalized, it works with better costing.
